Don’t Forget Spring Recess

School will be closed Friday, March 30, and Monday, April 2 for Spring Recess. Parents, be sure you plan accordingly. We hope everyone has a great four-day weekend, and we’ll see you on April 3!

An Important Reminder for 8th Grade Families

Come to our Getting Ready for High School event tonight, from 6-7 p.m., in the Liberty Douglas Library. As 8th graders prepare to enter high school, we’ll discuss the steps they’ll need to take for a successful transition, parents can complete all the necessary registration forms, and students and parents can get all their questions answered.

Vaping: A Dangerous Trend for Kids

There’s a new health issue for parents to be aware of. Across the country, middle schools and high schools have seen an increase in disciplinary referrals due to e-cigarettes, or vaping.

National Women’s History Month

March is National Women’s History Month, and 2018’s theme honors women who fight all forms of discrimination against women. Women’s History Month first began as a single day, which later led to a week, and now we dedicate the whole month of March to honoring women’s achievements in history.
