Title I provides federal funds to help economically disadvantaged students meet at least the minimum state academic standards and proficiency on state assessments.
Funds are used to assess needs, design math and reading instruction, provide supplementary materials and hire additional educators. Early childhood, after-school and summer school programs are also eligible for Title I funds.
At Liberty Traditional, we utilize every means to support our students with supplemental and targeted instruction. Our Title I teachers and aides are active partners in enhancing classroom instruction and upholding Common Core Standards. We are fortunate to have them.
If you have concerns about your child’s learning and success or questions about Title I, please don’t hesitate to speak with your child’s teacher or any of our administration here at Liberty Traditional Douglas. We have many resources to support student learning and care deeply about your child’s academic success.
